Announcing the second instalment of the Unsolvable Series: Aquarius

After the failure of intelligence services at the National Stadium in February 2023, a new squad is formed to take down the next agent of Kosmos.

Update: Operation Aquarius: December 2023

Agents, welcome to Operation Aquarius. You will deploy to Bedok Reservoir on the 2nd of December 2023.

A Kosmos agent, codenamed Aquarius, has been detected on site. He is believed to be searching for a hidden Navy bunker containing weapons-grade uranium. Your tasking is to find the bunker before Aquarius does, and safely extract the uranium intact.

You will complete your objective in three phases.

One, you and your team of five will deploy to Bedok Reservoir via three identified ingress routes. To minimise your visual signature, you are highly encouraged to utilize public transport - either from Bedok North MRT Station and secure the HomeTeamNS Clubhouse, or from Bedok Reservoir Station and secure the open area in front of the Berlin Wall Fragment. If you must drive a vehicle in, you are to park in the north at Carpark B, and secure the Therapeutic Garden.

You are strongly advised to refer to Google Maps for your deployment. There is no restriction on where you need to start - any of the three locations are valid.

Two, your team will mobilize towards five objectives around the reservoir. Our forward scouts reported these objectives to contain highly classified materials, which reveal the location of the hidden bunker. You will need to secure all five objectives, likely by performing a series of tasks at each, before you can locate the final location of the bunker.

Refer to the image below for the rough locations of the five objectives (in blue; ingress routes are in red). You will still need to visit each location and locate our forward scouts, who will instruct you on the task you need to perform.

Three, locate the final location containing the entrance to the bunker. We do not have intel on what to expect there, so be prepared for anything.

All unknown forces at the final location are to be considered hostile. Whilst en route to the bunker, you should minimise interactions with other HOG teams, lest they betray us again like Capricorn.

This is a winner-takes-all deployment. The first team to secure the bunker for us will be recognized for their bravery and honor. All the best!

Contact the Chief via Telegram @lordsalmon if you need to clarify any questions. Otherwise, you will be invited into a group channel for info dissemination.

Operation Aquarius: December 2023

Radio chatter picked up by HOG agents indicate a second attempt by Kosmos, although the location is still unknown. Intelligence believes that the next Kosmos agent, Aquarius, is attempting to breach into a secret Naval storage facility to steal highly radioactive assets.

YOU and your team of 5 are newly minted HOG agents. To prove your worth to the Group, you are tasked to locate and neutralize the threat posed by Aquarius.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to locate and secure the facility assets before Aquarius does. To do so, you'll need to arrive at scene with your four teammates at 1400 hrs, on 2 December 2023 (Saturday), and link up with the recon team already on site.

You will then need to locate five hidden control panels, each of which are locked by difficult tasks and puzzles. Each control panel will provide you with valuable information on the actual location of the storage facility. The recon team is hard at work locating the panels, and will inform you of their locations closer to the actual day.

Want to know what to expect? Try decoding this picture (above) to figure out where the game will be held! There are many ways to communicate an exact location, such as through GPS coordinates, longtitudes and langitudes, the use of physical landmarks etc. However, there is a more accurate method with the use of 3 words, and it is publicly available (maybe try 10 to the 100th power?); this method allows anyone to accurately pinpoint a three-meter square anywhere on Earth. Good luck!

Operation Capricorn: February 2023

The first Unsolvable saw fresh-faced Captains of the Homeland Operations Group ("HOG") race against time, to stop a new threat named Kosmos from bombing a diplomatic summit.

In February 2023, Captains steadily advanced past Kosmos bases, ranging from Decathlon Kallang to the quiet suburbs of Dakota, and eventually breached the National Stadium to discover the place laced with bombs. Unbeknownst to the Captains, Capricorn was not just one man, but were a collective group of spies that already operated within the HOG; these spies resorted to delay tactics, such as passing wrong information, and even hiding in Kallang Wave Mall, to prevent HOG from successfully defusing all bombs.
